SPCA Alberton How To Help
SPCA Alberton How To Help: As an animal welfare organisation they acknowledge all animals as sentient beings and strive to prevent their cruelty and exploitation. They aim to achieve this by proactively promoting animal welfare, enforcing animal protection legislation, and prosecuting offenders. Their mission is to maintain a high profile within the community through visibility and interaction. They strive to do so by deploying competent personnel who project enthusiasm and commitment, supported by education and community outreach programmes. The Alberton SPCA endeavours to offer residents services that are professional, efficient and accessible. They are always in need of volunteers to assist them with the daily running of our branch. Volunteers need to be 16 years and older, and willing to assist with whatever is needed. By volunteering only a few hours of your time each month, you could assist animals in a practical way and help speak for those that cannot speak for themselves.
Sponsor a kennel for as little as R 100 per month, or R 1320 per year. Your support will provide food, shelter and primary health care for your animal for the entire month. To show their appreciation, a certificate with your name on it will be displayed on the kennel to acknowledge your sponsorship. Please call them on 011-907-1568, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
