In other stories making news The Detective Unit for the South African Police Service (SAPS) supplied the Alberton CPF with information at their sector community meeting, held on Tuesday, November 8, stating that groups of young people are gathering in remote locations around Alberton and created a game, re-enacting a movie called The Purge. Although no cases have been reported as yet, the public is asked to please keep an eye on their children and any children gathering in groups. According to reports, stronger children are pursuing weaker ones and once they have committed a crime against the weaker child, they have won the game. SAPS are asking to please make sure that you know where your child or children are at all times, and who they are with. Should you witness anything you believe to be even remotely close to this, please do not hesitate to contact the CPF control room on 076 105 0859 or the Alberton SAPS on 011 861 6800.
